Our heavy-duty tarp, also known as a heavy-duty tarpaulin or simply “heavy tarp,” is a durable and robust covering made from a strong and thick material. It protects against rain, wind, sunlight, debris, abrasion, and cold. Heavy-duty tarps are commonly used in outdoor and industrial settings where sturdy and long-lasting coverings are needed.
Our tarps are made from woven polypropylene, with a typical tensile strength of around 4,800 psi. This design interlocks fibers, allowing the tarp to withstand significant loads and resist tearing. Woven polypropylene is suitable for heavy-duty applications that need to carry substantial weight. Compared to non-woven polypropylene, woven PP is significantly more robust.
